The season season of The Kapil Sharma Show is being jointly produced by Salman Khan and Kapil Sharma.

Ever since Kapil Sharma came up with his own comedy show on TV, it has been a roller-coaster ride for him. From being the top comedy show on TV to being mired in multiple controversies, the show has always been in news.

Reportedly, the second season of The Kapil Sharma Show, which premiered on December 29, hasn't received the same kind of warmth or adulation from the audience as the previous season. Kapil is co-producing the show this year along with Salman Khan. Apparently, he has reduced his fees drastically for this season. 

According to a Dainik Bhaskar report, Kapil earlier used to charge Rs 60-70 lakh per weekend episode, however, now, he gets somewhere around Rs 15-20 lakh per weekend episode, which is a massive reduction in comparison to his previous amount. Apparently Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek also get somewhere around Rs 10- 12 lakh per weekend episode.
